Privacy Policy

Effective August 29, 2026

Duly Noted. records wastes of time. It should not create another one by making you guess what happens to your data.

Information we collect

We collect account information needed to sign you in, such as your email address, account identifier, name when supplied by your sign-in provider, and authentication provider.

We store the records you create: incident timestamps, duration, category, intensity, presentation mode, receipt tone, and optional value-of-time estimate. If you used an earlier workday version, legacy schedule, wage-estimate, workday, or activity-session records may remain in your account until deleted.

We also receive messages you deliberately send through Support, account-deletion requests, and limited technical information our hosting and authentication providers need to operate and secure the app, such as device, browser, session, network, and error-log information.

How we use it

We use your information to authenticate your account, keep your incident history, calculate durations and optional time values, generate receipts, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Duly Noted. has no advertising and does not sell personal information. The app has no AI feature, and incident records are not used to train an app-specific AI model.

Sharing is deliberate

Your incidents and declared time value are private to your account unless you deliberately share a receipt. “Issue Citation” opens the device share sheet, copy function, or download option. Duly Noted. does not choose a recipient or send a message automatically.

Anything you share through Messages, Mail, Slack, AirDrop, or another app is then handled under that service’s terms and privacy practices.

Service providers

We use Base44 for app hosting, authentication, data storage, and backend services, and Apple for App Store distribution and purchases. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services.

Security

We use authenticated access controls and owner-based data rules so incident records are available only to the account that created them. Network traffic is protected using the safeguards supplied by our hosting platform. No online service can promise absolute security, which is the accurate version of “secure-ish.”

Retention and deletion

We retain account and incident information while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can request deletion inside the app under Account. We aim to process a complete deletion request within seven days. Limited security logs, backups, transaction records, or records required by law may remain temporarily.

Your choices

You can decline to enter a value for your time, choose what to record, choose whether to share, and request deletion of your account and associated app data. App Store purchase and refund records are controlled by Apple.

Children

Duly Noted. is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes and will revise the effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be filed through the public Support page and the authenticated Contact form.

Official finding: the app knows only what is needed to operate the record you chose to create.
